    Yelm Backyard Wildlife is helping to create a Certified community wildlife habitat in Yelm and its surrounding communities. Join us in creating, preserving, enhancing, and restoring wildlife habitat by providing food, water, shelter, and a places to raise young - one yard at a time.

    Yelm, Washington is a diverse community comprised of riparian and prairie habitat located near the Nisqually River in Thurston County Washington at the foot of Mount Rainier. Yelm's 98597 zip code total over 22,535 persons living in the Clear Lake, Lake Lawrence, City of Yelm and North Yelm areas in 2010. If you have already certified your backyard, please contact us to be included in this project. Habitat Team applicants may use NITRO PDF to fill out the volunteer application and image release forms.
